About us

ANI HAYKUNI Cancer Treatment Support Foundation was established in September 2016 with an aim to support cancer patients in Armenia.

Ani Haykuni, the founder, was diagnosed with a highly aggressive form of cancer in July 2015. That happened two months before she had to join Oxford for her MBA. A year after her diagnosis, she established the foundation and joined Oxford while on intense treatment.

Ani has lived through cancer twice and has been cancer free since 2020.

During her treatments, Ani learned about all the challenges that cancer patients are going through, not only psychological but also financial. In Armenia, there are no proper insurance plans for cancer treatments, and very often people cannot afford paying for expensive treatments.

The charity raises funds from different sources in order to provide financial and psychological support to patients making treatments accessible for them.

In addition to the financial and psychological support, the long-term goal of the foundation is to improve cancer treatment practices in Armenia and globally through introduction of best practices in the industry.

Our mission is to save as many lives as possible.

Ani is also a public speaker, writer and the founder of the Vann health tech company, which is based in the United Kingdom.

What We Do

Financial support

We raise funds to provide financial support to cancer patients for chemotherapy courses and checkups.

Funds are not transferred to the patients directly, but to the hospitals where the patients are receiving treatments.

Introduction of  best practices

Our long-term goal is to improve cancer treatment practices in Armenia.

We welcome organizations and individuals who would be interested in cooperation with us and help achieve this goal.

Psychological Support

We are happy to speak to anybody who is going through cancer treatment, including patients and their families.

We do believe that success of the treatment also depends on the positive attitude.

What we do

One day you realize that there is nothing to be scared of. After feeling the end approaching and then living a new beginning, having fears seems a waste of time.
